Community Service Opportunities:
Area Goodie Bags
- Help decorate brown paper bags that we will be distributing to competitors for Area competition! :) Bags can be collected at our January general meeting, with a maximum of 4 per person!
- Dates: January 14th (General Meeting) to Friday, January 23rd
- Drop off: Health Science Teacher's classroom (P8, P9, P10, Room 6005)
- Hours: 30 minutes per bag, 2 hours maximum
- Note: Please ensure you write your name on the bottom of the bag!

Join us!
Volunteering is a big part of the medical community. In HOSA, we offer some volunteer opportunities throughout the year, but encourage members to go out into their community and learn what it's truly like to lend a helping hand to those that are in need.
Community service opportunities will be discussed at monthly HOSA meetings, on social media, on the remind app, in the health science classes, and posted here on the website. If you are wanting to letter in HOSA, it is required that you attend and participate in 12 community service hours.
Volunteer on your Own:
We encourage you to go out in your community and volunteer on your own! There are so many ways you can help. From working at food banks, nursing homes, medical related walks/runs, donating blood at a blood bank, soup kitchens, doctor's offices, etc, you can make a difference.
